AÉROPORT INTERNATIONAL PANAMÁ PACÍFICO

The small airport of Panamá Pacífico is located west of the capital, across the bridge of the Americas. It is an old American military base (Howard). It currently hosts flights from the low cost Wingo Company from Colombia. Please note that Viva Colombia has no longer served Panama since May 2018.

To reach the capital, it takes US $ 25-30 per taxi (for two, USD 3 per additional person). If you have an Internet connection, you can use Uber services, it's often cheaper (no Wifi in the airport in 2018). Resourceful travelers who want to save a few balboas and have time in front of them, can take a taxi to the Pan American (3 US $ a race, these yellow taxis are 50 m from the airport exit, they will leave you 30 m from the Pan American bus stop on the left).
