- This International Festival of Digital Arts takes place at the Center des Arts - Casa das Mudas, Calheta (west coast). Madeiradig was created in 2004, filling a gap in Madeira's cultural events, in the field of multimedia and digital arts. The programming brings together internationally renowned artists in the fields of electronic and avant-garde music, cinema, video, art, computer science and photography, and hopes to encourage as many Madeira artists as possible to create new projects in these fields.
